Some good news for transit users across Metro Vancouver…
Translink Spokesperson Drew Snider says Monday, service is expanding in certain areas — totalling an additional 40,000 service hours.
“What the changes are is to finally get some additional service in the areas that have been chronically underserved, and as a result overcrowded… so late-night service on the 99-B Line for example… off-peak service improvements on the #49 which also goes to UBC, and also some additional weeknight service on the #84 which goes to UBC as well.”
More than half of the changes are taking place south of the Fraser.
Snider says to check Translink’s website for a complete list.
