Mechanical failure might be to blame for fatal crash in West Van

One man is dead after a freak accident in West Vancouver. Police say shortly before noon yesterday, two men were in a delivery truck -- heading east on Water Lane -- when the driver lost control and hit a fence, a piece of which impaled the truck's passenger.
