Whale carcass removed from beach

The carcass of a baby hump back whale has been removed from the beach in White Rock. Coast Guard spokesperson Dan Bate says for public safety reasons it was decided to remove the whale, "So, an operation to move the whale by Coast Guard Hovercraft was completed.
