A stabbing last night in New Westminster – has turned into a homicide investigation.
A man in his 20’s was apparently stabbed in the neck – at a home in the 500-block of 3rd Avenue.
It happened around 10:00pm Saturday.
Sergeant Jennifer Pound with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says a suspect was seen leaving the area.
“He’s described as an Asian male, approximately 25 years of age, five foot five, with short black hair, a muscular build, wearing a black muscle shitrt and grey shorts.”

The victim’s name isn’t being released.
