Premier Christy Clark has wrapped up her first trade visit to Japan, Korea and the Philippines with hope those countries will invest in British Columbia’s liquefied natural gas resources.
Since she left the province May 12th, Clark is reporting 25 business deals have been reached, with a focus on clean-energy.
The agreements are collectively valued at more than half a billion dollars.
The L-N-G industry is expected to create high-paying jobs for the Prince George region, as well as Metro Vancouver’s north shore.
Clark is the first BC premier to visit the Philippines which also plans to export more workers to this province.
