Is BC getting ripped off on the purchase of generic drugs?
CKNW has learned the provincial government is threatening legislation to lower the price it pays for generics, if the pharmaceutical industry can’t live up to a deal signed in 2010.
The deal saw BC negotiate a lower price for generic drugs that was supposed to save 170 million dollars by 2013.
