Seismic upgrade approved for Granville Street bridge

Vancouver City Council has approved a 5-point-6 million dollar seismic upgrade of the Granville Bridge. Graham Construction and Engineering have the contract. Dozens of people lined up to see one last film at the Granville 7 Cinema before the curtain falls for good. Granville Street store claims work at Orpheum Theatre is keeping customers away

The City of Vancouver is coming under fire from a Granville Street army surplus store. The shop's manager claims work at the Orpheum Theatre -- is hurting sales.
