BCGEU and LifeLabs make a tentative deal

The BCGEU says after days of mediated talks they have reached a tentative agreement with LifeLabs. The three year deal  includes a two percent equivalent lump sum upon ratification, one percent increases in January and July of this year and a two percent increase in July 2014. LifeLabs contract dispute update

The B-C Government and Service Employees Union has announced mediated contract talks with LifeLabs will resume Sunday at the Labour Relations Board. 700 unionized employees began rotating strikes last Monday.
