Clark announces funding for recreation facilities

  Premier Christy Clark has announced a new 30 million dollar fund to help communities across BC build new recreation facilities.  The fund will pay for projects like sports facilities, bike paths and playgrounds. Beast of BC, child-killer Clifford Olson dead

  Child killer Clifford Olson, the man known as the "Beast of BC", is dead. Relatives of his victims are being contacted and told he is now gone. The 71 year old had cancer, and wasn't expected to live much longer. He'd recently been moved to a hospital in Quebec. In 1982, Olson pleaded guilty to the murder of 11 BC children.
