BC gets a new earthquake

A new earthquake has hit BC. The National Weather Service says the quake happened at four minutes to 9 Monday evening and had a magnitude of 5.4. It was 64.37 kilometres southwest of Sandspit at a depth of 19.31 kilometres. While some people in Queen Charlotte City felt the tremor there was no danger of a tsunami. Man gets two years less a day for deadly White Rock hit-and-run

A Surrey man has been given a jail sentence of two years less a day for a hit and run a year and a half ago that killed a White Rock woman.
