Mountain biker who died on Cypress Mountain identified

A mountain biker who died last week on Cypress Mountain has been identified. West Vancouver police say he was Jonathan Tobias Pilley. The 43-year-old has been biking on a winding path along the Coiler Trail when he lost control and hit a tree. This is the first mountain biking-related death on the North Shore. Hope crash victim identified

The identity of the pick-up truck driver involved in a single-vehicle crash on the Coquihalla Highway on Sunday has been released. Second fatality from Lakeland identified

 We now know the name of the second man killed in the explosion at the Lakeland sawmill in Prince George. The BC coroner’s service says 46-year-old Glenn Francis Roche died in an Edmonton hospital yesterday evening.   The victim of a shooting in Richmond yesterday has now been identified. Sgt. Jennifer Pound with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says the victim is 36 year old Justin Nethaniel Po from Richmond. Human remains in Pacific Spirit Park identified

  The BC Coroner's service has identified the human remains found in the woods at Pacific Spirit Park yesterday. The remains have been identified as those of 47 year old Violet Puskas.   Remains found near Williams Lake last summer have been confirmed to be a 36-year old man who died ten years ago. The bones of Dennis Russell Meleta were found in a wooded area on August 24th.
