Bracelet scam targets Vancouver’s Chinese seniors

Police are warning Vancouver’s Chinese community about a scam that's made its way back to town, after going up and down the West Coast. Sgt. Lottery scam warning

Vancouver police have once again issued a warning about lottery scams targeting the elderly. Detective Linda Grange says in one case, an elderly woman in Hillsboro, California was telephoned from Vancouver and told she'd won 7.5 million dollars in the Australian lottery. A man who made headlines in the 2006 hit-and-run of a New Zealand doctor is once again behind bars.
