Vancouver Police have identified the city's latest murder victim as a young man from Richmond. Mathew Johnathan Hall's remains were found on November 17. The man who was shot dead last night at his East Vancouver home was Alexander Julian Liang. Police have now confirmed his identity as the victim of the city's 8th homicide of the year. Plane crash claims second victim

A second person has died following Monday's plane crash near Brenda Mines. The BC Coroners Service identifies the victim as 24-year old Lauren Sewell of Surrey. 30-year old Jayson Smith of Vancouver died at the scene of the accident, which remains under investigation by the Transporation Safety Board.
