Victoria police had a busy first holiday DUI blitz

Police in Victoria caught nearly 30 impaired drivers during their first counterattack blitz of the holiday season. Over the weekend, 29 drivers were taken off the road and 143 tickets were issued for various infractions. Officers also ordered the inspection of 19 vehicles with visible safety defects.
