Animal hoarding case in greater Victoria

The BC SPCA has removed 45 mini-poodles from a home in Victoria, calling it a case of 'hoarding.' SPCA spokeswomean Lorie Chortyk says the owner, living in Brentwood Bay, failed to get rid of some of the animals, as instructed by the society. Another giraffe at the Greater Vancouver Zoo dead

A 12 year old giraffe at the Greater Vancouver Zoo has died. General Manager Jodi Henderson says Jafari was found dead in his heated barn about 7:30 this morning by animal care staff. Two new Siberian tigers at Greater Vancouver Zoo

They welcomed a new giraffe last week. Now, the Greater Vancouver Zoo is announcing the arrival of two new Siberian tigers. The Greater Vancouver Zoo mourns the death of a giraffe.
