Young girl hospitalized after being hit by car

A 12 year old girl is in critical condition in Children's Hospital after being struck by a car while trying to dart across a busy street in Richmond Wednesday afternoon. Woman and baby reportedly in hospital after being pulled from Surrey pool

There are reports that two people--apparently a woman and a baby--have been taken to hospital after being pulled out of a pool in Surrey late Sunday evening. Human smuggler gets four years after being caught at YVR

A French man convicted of smuggling people into Canada will spend more than three years in prison. Mikael Jim Prone has been sentenced to 48 months, minus eight for time served. 75-year old woman dies after being hit in a crosswalk

Vancouver has recorded its third traffic fatality of the year. Police say a 75-year old woman was killed last evening at the intersection of East 41st Avenue and Ross Street after being struck in a marked crosswalk.
