Norovirus outbreak at Royal Columbian Hospital prompts quarantine

A Norovirus outbreak has shut down two wards at Royal Columbian Hospital. Twelve patients in General Medicine Geriatric wards were under quarantine or sent home to prevent the spread of the stomach virus. One dead, another in hospital after suspected carbon monoxide poisoning on the Sunshine Coast

A middle-aged man is dead, another in critical condition in an apparent case of carbon monoxide poisoning on the Sunshine Coast. The West Vancouver men were moored in a Halfmoon Bay marina. Eight year old in hospital after being struck by car while crossing the street

An eight year old is in hospital after getting hit by a car while crossing the street in Surrey just before 6pm Sunday. It happened on 140th Street and 74th Avenue, and RCMP say the girl was in the crosswalk, the walk light still flashing. Hospital limping back to recovery

Surrey Memorial Hospital's still waiting for a final assessment on it's MRI machine caught up in the flood a few weeks ago. VPD motorcycle officer released from hospital

A Vancouver Police motorcycle officer hit by a car today has now been treated and released from hospital, and is resting up at home. The accident happened just after 9:30 a-m on Clarke Drive. After two weeks of repairs and clean up after a flood, Surrey Memorial Hospital's Emergency Room will re-open at 8:30 Monday morning.
