Son charged with murdering father in Nanaimo

A murder charge has been approved in the death of a 69-year old Nanaimo man and  the 27-year old suspect is the victim's son. Verdict expected for Chilliwack man accused of murdering teen runaway

The verdict is expected Monday at the Chilliwack trial of a man accused of murdering a teen runaway more than seven years ago. A 25-year old Chinese national living in Richmond has now been charged with first degree murder in the death of his mother. Yuan Xi Tang is accused of killing 47 year old Lianjie Guo in June before reporting her missing to police. The 47 year old victim was visiting him with her husband when she was killed.
