Man shot in Surrey

One man is in hospital after a shooting in Surrey this morning. It happened about 5:30 near 60 Avenue and 130 Street. RCMP responded after a 911 call was made from an area home. Staff Sgt. The BC Coroners Service has released the name of the man shot and killed by RCMP on Monday. 40 year old Gregory John Matters was from Prince George. He'd been involved in a stand off with police.
