Tofino mayor says delay in nofication from Province led to District’s decision to activate tsunami sirens, phone notifications

Tsunami sirens in Tofino went off last night, alerting residents to seek higher ground following  the 7.7 magnitude quake in Haida Gwaii. Decision on viaducts delayed

We'll have to wait a bit longer for a decision on the Georgia and Dunsmuir viaducts.
