Thousands of chickens die in Abbotsford fire

More than 15,000 chickens have been killed in a commercial barn fire in Abbotsford.Deputy Fire Chief Dale Unrau says the blaze broke out in a barn on a property in the 4100 block of Ross Road.Crews then tried to stop the flames from spreading to other structures. Power outage hits thousands in Richmond

A massive power outage has hit several parts of Richmond.  As of 5:30 p.m., about 25,000 BC Hydro customers are without electricity because of a problem at a Hydro substation. Volunteer search and rescue personnel in Steveston are without thousands of dollars worth of gear after a break-in at a storage trailer earlier this week.
