Suspicious package discovered in Richmond

Richmond RCMP are asking for public help in finding four home invaders who bound and assaulted a local woman, and stole seven Hermes handbags from her home, valued at between 5000 and 15-thousand dollars each. A two-storey duplex under construction in Richmond is destroyed, two other buildings are damaged, and seven people are out of those buildings after a fire early Sunday morning. No genetically-modified crops allowed in Richmond

Richmond Council has passed a motion to ban genetically-modified crops, plants and shrubs from being grown in the city. The ban is the sixth-such ruling among BC communities despite the fact GE crops are federally regulated. Two teenagers from Richmond are dead after a collision on Number 4 road, south of Steveston Highway.
